this year, i am going to use the physics/chemistry definition (note: I have never taken a chemistry course ever) of ‘resolution’ which is: The act or process of separating or reducing something into its constituent parts: the prismatic resolution of sunlight into its spectral colors.
I am going to break down all the many parts of me, to reduce myself to the smallest of small things, and maybe I will find something there that is useful. Hopefully, more useful than the Klonapin. But then again, that shit is great.
i guess these are the things i should try to do next year:
- dance and sing more (in situations where it is as least appropriate as possible)
- stop using the word “potentiality” as though I know what it means when I don’t really understand it at all.
- pet my mom’s boyfriend’s dogs more because they seem lonely and lazy.
- prioritize and organize
- take a class in sewing or pottery making or something that is physically useful (not physically demanding).
- spend more one-on-one time with Kristin.
- hike as frequently as possible
- buy ink for my printer
- use Irish more often instead of English
- get to work and class on time. (There is no such thing as being fashionably late to these things, Meghan).
- see a dentist and get my wisdom teeth removed.
- remember Hayley always, and use everything (all of the insight, the advice, the support, the love) she has given you to its fullest extent. Let nothing get in it’s way.
